Use of Externally Sourced Objects and Materials Guidance Note

The Guidance Note – Guidance on the use of externally sourced objects and materials document contains information on items prohibited from the university premises. 

Following SMT approval please find attached the new Health & Safety guidance note prohibited objects, items and materials. This note has been produced to reduce the risk of hazardous materials and objects being brought in to University premises. The guidance also provides clarity to staff and students on objects, items and materials that are prohibited from University premises and how items not listed in the guidance should be risk assessed and approved before being brought into our buildings.

If you are aware of any of the prohibited items, materials or objects that have already been brought into any of our buildings could you please make sure they are safely removed.
