Risk & Safety

Risk and Safety is an important aspect of being a member of the university. To help you understand how to stay safe and avoid any potential injury, we have a number of helpful resources, policies, guides and forms.

In general, it is important that everyone in the University:

• Understands that the University's committed to Risk of Safety.
• Recognises that everyone in the University has a role in ensuring Risk & Safety.
• Is aware of the site Fire and Emergency Procedures.
• Is able to identify those with key Risk and Safety responsibilities within the University.
• Is aware of the University's Health and Safety Policy and that safe systems of work exist.
• Has a basic Risk and Safety knowledge that can be built upon by further specific training.
