Information for Suppliers

The Procurement function supports purchasing activities across the College, aligning procurement best practice with the needs of the College and its students, delivering value for money, legal compliance and sustainability.

Compliance with EU and UK legislation

The College is a public sector organisation and must comply with the European Directives for Supplies, Services and Works, transposed into UK Law as the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The requirements of this legislation are enshrined in the College’s key Procurement documents.

Equality & Diversity

The College encourages diversity in its supply chain and also takes into account when contacting suppliers that they reflect the diverse business community in which we operate. The College also requires suppliers to comply with Equality legislation.

Code of business conduct

We conduct our business to the highest standards of honesty and integrity, following the Ethical Code of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).

Standard conditions

Read our standard conditions of contract for the purchase of goods and services.

Supplying to Leeds College of Art

The College carries out its own procurement for a variety of goods and services, by obtaining competitive quotations, or by carrying formal tender exercises, depending on value. Any current tender opportunities are detailed below.

The College is also a member of NEUPC (North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium) and CPC (Crescent Purchasing Consortium), both of which offer a large number of Framework Agreements which are available for the College to use without the need to carry out an open quotation or tender exercise.
