Student Ambassador

Would you like to be a student ambassador?

Student ambassadors play a vital support role in many events and activities at Leeds College of Art. In the role you will be maintaining the reputation of the College, and sharing first hand insights about what it’s like to study here.


Student ambassadors get involved with many activities including open days, UCAS fairs, exhibitions, private views, Young Creatives Art School, school/college outreach events, and office work.


If you have the following skills then we would like to receive an application from you

  • Confident at speaking in public with a range of different people
  • Approachable with good customer service skills
  • Enjoy working in a team
  • Track record of being reliable and arriving on time
  • Passionate about your course and College
  • An interest in working with young people in a classroom setting
  • Knowledgeable about student life, and life in Leeds 

Student ambassador is paid casual employment that you can fit in around your studies.


How to apply


We recruit student ambassadors twice per year, in January and again in May. If you are interested in the role we encourage you to submit an application at any time of the year, then we will invite you to interview during the following recruitment cycle, in either January or May.


  • Fill in the application form in word and email it as an attachment to
  • If we don’t respond immediately don’t panic, we will respond to all the applications during the recruitment time. There is no need to sign the application form before you email it back.
  • If you are completing the form on a Mac ensure the document you send it compatible with Word on a PC.
