The Quality & Standards Office
The Quality and Standards Office (The Quality Office) plays a key role in the development of the University’s quality assurance and academic regulatory frameworks, including the approval, monitoring and review of courses. It also provides a Committee Secretariat function for the University's Deliberative Structure and supports the undergraduate and postgraduate courses in meeting their responsibility for quality assurance, academic standards and enhancement.
The Quality Handbook
The Quality Handbook provides an overview of the University's framework for managing academic quality and standards. The handbook is addressed to those with particular responsibility for delivering academic courses within the higher education provision including Pro-Vice-Chancellors, Directors - Undergraduate Studies, the Head of Postgraduate Studies, Course Leaders and Subjects Leaders, Subject Specialists, Module Leaders and Lecturers.
The HE Learning, Teaching and Enhancement Plan
This plan incorporates the strategic aims of the University. The plan includes measurements of impacts for improvements to engagement with students, assessment and feedback, approaches to technology in learning and teaching, international and global reach, and staff development in learning and teaching.
